RideLink Community Guidelines
RideLink is a place to find your e-bike people, plan rideouts, sell a bike to someone who will love it, and keep the map honest. These are the house rules that keep it that way. Short version: post like you are talking to a rider you respect, not shouting into a void.
The one rule under all the other rules: if a post makes the feed or the map worse for the riders around you, it does not belong here. Everything else is that rule with examples, because "vibes" is not a moderation policy.
The Short Version
If you only read one thing, read this. Every line links to the page that explains it properly.
- Post real rides. Your bike, your route, your rideout, your honest opinion. Posts and chat
- Sell honestly. Say the class, the battery's real condition, and the bike's history. Batteries change hands in person, never by post. Buying and selling
- A pin is a promise. Only drop a marker for something that is there right now. Map and rideouts
- People before content. No harassment, no hate, no threats, nothing involving minors, nobody's private details. Safety and people
- You will be told why. Anything we remove comes with a reason and an appeal button. Enforcement and appeals
The Full Guidelines
Buying & Selling E-Bikes
What every listing must state, class and certification, stolen-bike checks, battery shipping, meeting and paying safely, and the five scams we see most.
Read the selling rules
Posts, Comments & Chat
What makes a good post, where the line is on promotion and spam, impersonation, labeling AI-generated content, and how DMs and communities are held to the same rules.
Read the posting rules
The Map & Rideouts
What a marker is allowed to claim, why fake police pins are taken so seriously, what a host owes the riders who turn up, and keeping your own location safe.
Read the map rules
Safety & People
The lines that are never crossed — harassment, hate, threats, minors, sexual content, doxxing, self-harm, illegal goods — each with the consequence attached.
Read the safety rules
Enforcement & Appeals
How moderation works, the warning-to-ban ladder, what you are told when something is removed, how to appeal it, and what we will not do.

Who These Apply To
Everyone, everywhere in RideLink: the feed, comments, direct messages, community chats, map markers, rideouts, profiles, community names and icons, and anything you post through the website. A community can set a stricter house style on top. None can set a looser one.
These guidelines sit alongside the Terms and the Privacy Policy. Where the Terms are the contract, this is the plain-language version of how we actually run the place.
If Something Goes Wrong
Report it from the item itself so a moderator gets the context. If we act on something of yours, you get a notification saying what it was and which rule it broke, with an appeal button on it. If you think we got it wrong, use the button — a moderator takes a fresh look and you get told the outcome either way.
If you think a rider is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. We are a bikes app, not a crisis service.
That is the code. Follow it and you will barely notice it exists. Now go open the map, post the good stuff, and keep it the kind of place you would want to ride into.
